Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

I’m not sure how I feel about getting an online opinion. What are the benefits?
arrow

An online opinion offers a number of benefits:

  1. Normally, patients encounter significant travel and wait times when trying to make an appointment with a senior oncologist. Through Navya, the same oncologists review your case in 24 hours, and you don’t need to leave your home. You can take your treatment plan to your doctor and commence treatment right away.

  2. Many cases require the input of multiple oncologists, especially if multiple treatments or organs are involved. Tumour boards of multiple experts are available only at the best tertiary care centers in the world. Without a tumor board, it falls on the patient to make sense of multiple recommendations. We enable experts to collaborate remotely on your case through technology, giving you access to a tumor board of world class experts online.
